Hello Kitty

I recently got the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. I lost many an ebay auction before finally winning one. (And I am happy to say that I didn't spend over a 100 dollars like I saw a couple of them go for!)

So here is the first attempt at using the cart. I am going to make a couple of more and give them to my nieces for Valentine's Day.


Supplies:
Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge
red cardstock (for base and shadow of xo stamp)
white cardstock (for stamped image)
grey cardstock (which came from EP's Be Mine collection)
patterned paper for heart (Love Me collection from MME)
ribbon (the ribbon on this card came from WalMart)
X and heart stamp from Michaels

And here is the newest card I made. My mom has lost a bunch of weight and I just wanted to let her know how good she looks and to keep up the good work.



The base is just white cardstock, then purple, then grey. The tag (which reads fabulous in case you can't make it out) and the shadowed woman came from the Forever Young Cricut cartridge. The ribbon is just some I had here at home. (It looks red due to the flash, but it is a shade of purple.)

First post, how exciting!

So I thought I would share a couple of composition notebooks that I altered. These both were given as gifts.

First on the list:



This one I made and my thoughts were to use it as a prayer journal, but it obviously can be used for whatever she wanted. The word faith and the cross were cut from cricut cartridges (the cross from the Indie Art and faith from the Home Accents). All the paper is from a paper pad by Ki and the lace is something I picked up at WalMart.

Second:



Once again all paper is from the same Ki paper pad. The word "memories" is on the Home Decor cartridge. The P is the Stone Script cartridge and it's the same lace as on the other.
