Make my heart sing

This looks a little busy now that I actually sit and look at it. I should have just used a solid color cardstock instead of the heart patterned paper, but oh well. Not everything is going to turn out the way we want, and I might as well post the bad as well as the good.

Inside of card says You make my heart sing and has another little music note. (I really need to start taking pictures of the insides as well.)

Supplies:
George Font and Basic Shapes (heart)
Hannah Montana (music notes)
Love me cardstock (by MME) (music notes and patterned heart paper)
Be Mine cardstock (by EP) (music score paper)
Kraft paper for base
Red cardstock (heart)
Ribbon

Key to my heart

This card uses several cricut cartridges. I love the way it turned out!

Oh and on the inside is another white heart that has been stamped with "You hold the key to my heart" which I got from Michaels.

Supplies:
George Font and Basic Shapes Cartridge (hearts)
Sentimental Cartridge (key)
All stuck up Wild Berry buttons (by BoBunny)
Red and White cardstock
Script paper and pink cardstock (Be Mine Echo Park)
Distress Ink (vintage photo)
Another white heart on inside
Stamp that says "You hold the key to my Heart" from Michaels on inside

Hello Kitty

I recently got the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. I lost many an ebay auction before finally winning one. (And I am happy to say that I didn't spend over a 100 dollars like I saw a couple of them go for!)

So here is the first attempt at using the cart. I am going to make a couple of more and give them to my nieces for Valentine's Day.

Supplies:
Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge
red cardstock (for base and shadow of xo stamp)
white cardstock (for stamped image)
grey cardstock (which came from EP's Be Mine collection)
patterned paper for heart (Love Me collection from MME)
ribbon (the ribbon on this card came from WalMart)
X and heart stamp from Michaels

You are Fabulous

And here is the newest card I made. My mom has lost a bunch of weight and I just wanted to let her know how good she looks and to keep up the good work.

The base is just white cardstock, then purple, then grey. The tag (which reads fabulous in case you can't make it out) and the shadowed woman came from the Forever Young Cricut cartridge. The ribbon is just some I had here at home. (It looks red due to the flash, but it is a shade of purple.)

Hope you enjoyed it!

Goodies that I have recently gotten

So here are some pictures of the newest goodies I have gotten in the past few months. It's not everything, but just a fun little start.

I got the 48 set of Prismacolor Markers from my boyfriend. This is the first 24.

And this is the second 24 of the set. Still learning to use these. It's a lot harder than those youtube videos make it look! :)

Bought myself a Gypsy. I got my first one and it was DOA. I didn't even get to turn it on. Got a new one from Provo Craft and works like a dream! Working on my first project with this now.

The other part of my Christmas gift from my boyfriend was my Cricut Expression. Got this off ebay and it came with 3 cartridges as well. They are Winter Lace, Gingerbread, and Trim the Tree. Loving my new bug! (Sorry for the mess around the machine.)

I ordered several items from the new site Blitsy.com. Discounted prices on really good stuff. So first I got a couple of Distress Inks. The colors are forest moss and fired brick.

Only got 1 of these as all others were sold out. It's the color wash from Ranger Ink. This is the Wild Plum color.

7 Gypsies rub-ons. Aren't the colors gorgeous?!

And some kraft tags. There are 20 of them in this package.

And some stickles. The colors of these are firefly, lavender, and thistle.

This is one of my fur babies. Her name is Sage and she followed me around while I was getting all this stuff together for the pictures, so she got in this post too. Isn't she pretty! :) (My other baby was off napping on my bed and I didn't want to interrupt him. I'll get one of him later.)

Hope you enjoyed seeing all the new goodies I got!

Stay Crafty,
Heather
